Jonathan's practice focuses primarily on estate planning, probate, bankruptcy, and civil litigation including personal injury matters.
Education
Jonathan graduated from Seattle University School of Law where he was nominated to the National Order of the Barristers. His undergraduate education was at St. Martin's College in Lacey, Washington, where he majored in Business Administration and Theatre Arts. He has completed mediation training with the Pierce County Dispute Resolution Center, and has previously served as a mediator and arbitrator on a variety of matters.
Community
Jonathan is very active in the community having previously served with the St. Martin’s Alumni Association, Gateway Rotary Club in Lacey, WA, Rainier Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA, and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
Jonathan has served with Southeast Thurston Fire Authority in a variety of capacities since 1999. He completed the Thurston County Fire Recruit School in 2000, and earned his EMT Certification in 2001. He was elected to the office of Fire Commissioner in November 2007 for a term beginning in 2008. In 2012 he was elected to the position of Chairman of the Board of Fire Commissioners.
Jonathan has received the Graduate of Distinction award from both Rainier High School and St. Martin’s University. In December of 2023, he received the Local Hero Award from the Washington State Bar Association.
