Friday, January 14th, 2022, we will have limited access to e-mail, phones, and fax as we switch over our network and phone systems, Monday, January 17th, 2022, our office will be closed for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Beginning Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, you can reach us at the same e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and fax number we have always had. Last week the Thurston County Bar Association awarded Chuck Szurszewski its highest honor, the Daniel Bigelow Award. The award acknowledges one attorney annually for “outstanding professional and community service during the course of his or her career”. Chuck’s nomination referenced his service to the Washington State Bar Association as a member (and former chair) of the Family Law Executive Committee, to the Thurston County Bar Association as a member (and former president), and as a frequent volunteer and mentor for the Volunteer Legal Clinic sponsored by Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services. The award is named after Daniel Bigelow, a pioneer lawyer and statesman from Olympia.

COVID-19 Update – November 2020

As you are aware, our operations were somewhat affected by the newly released COVID-19 restrictions released by the Governor on Sunday, November 15, 2020. Please note: the courts and judicial operations are not closed. However, our firm and its operations fell within the definition of “professional services” which is required to make a few changes in order to help curb the spread of COVID-19 in our community and across the state. As such, our office has shifted to an emergency staffing plan with the majority of our staff working remotely from home. We learned a lot from our first lockdown this past Spring and believe these new restrictions will have minimal effect, if any, on your case as we have worked to streamline the work-from-home process of our staff. However, we do ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this remote staffing structure. We are continuing to offer
